Is the Bahai Faith a religion?

Dr. Mohammed Alam Qurayshi

An important element to establish the truthfulness and divine origin of any religion is to examine the prophecies made by their leaders.

The importance of prophecies is derived from the fact that Prophets (or Manifestations of God, as the Bahais call them) are sent by God. God, the Almighty, is Knower of All things. Since our knowledge is limited to the present and the past, God makes known the future to His appointed ones as a sign of their truthfulness. So while predictions can go wrong, prophecies are true and bound to happen. Thus, the foretelling by Prophets are prophecies, and any wrong forecasting is a manifest proof to establish the falsehood of the claimant.

Quranic verses and Prophetic traditions are exemplary evidences of prophecies, which the Bahais also acknowledge.

My intention, here, is not to scrutinize all the Bahai teachings and convert this article to an argument of academic interest. But my objective is to present to you an honest case and let you examine the Bahai Faith.

Leadership has always been a a key issue in the Bahai Faith, and its importance is emphasized by Abdul Baha

"In each cycle the guardian and holy souls have been twelve. So Jacob had twelve sons; in the time of Moses there were heads or chiefs of the tribes; in the time of Christ there were twelve Apostles; and in the time of Mohammad there were twelve Imams. But in this glorious manifestation there are twenty-four, double the number of all the others, for the greatness of this manifestation requires it."

Some Answered Questions, Chapter 11: Commentary on the Eleventh Chapter of the Revelation of St. John, page 29-30

"O my loving friends! After the passing away of this wronged one, turn unto Shoghi Effendi as he is the sign of God, the chosen branch, the Guardian of the Cause of God, he unto whom all the Aghsan, the Afnan, the Hands of the Cause of God and His loved ones must turn."

Will and Testament of Abdu’l Baha, page 11

So far so good, but what about the remaining?

The Will and Testament continues

"He (Shoghi) is the Interpreter of the Word of God and after him will succeed the first-born of his lineal descendents."

Will and Testament of Abdu’l Baha, page 11

And lo! Shoghi died without children. God guided mankind and proved Abdul Baha a liar.

The Bahai Faith is anything other than a faith. Had there been any truth in it, the statements of Abdul Baha would have been established. God never breaks His promise. He would keep His Word had He made it. And thus, God in His Own unique way showed mankind that the Bahai Faith is not His Word. The truth was manifested and the Bahai Faith falsified.

Dear readers, Abdul Baha played a trick, he was blind about the unseen future. How will he show you the way, who himself is lost?

O Bahais open your eyes to the truth.

"Now have come to you, from your Lord, proofs (to open your eyes): if any will see, it will be for (the good of) his own soul; if any will be blind, it will be to his own (harm): I am not (here) to watch over your doings." (Holy Quran)

Blood thicker than water?

Dr. Mohammed Alam Qurayshi

This is a short account of Bahaullah and his brother Mirza Yahya Noori, their lives together and the animosity between them. The objective of this article is simply to bring to the fore that fact that Bahaullah did not practice what he preached. Let us see how.

Mirza Yahya "Subh-e-Azal" was 13 years younger than Bahaullah. He became a Babi at the age of 14. According to Nuqtatul Qaaf, when Mirza Yahya went in the presence of Qurratul Ayn at Barfarosh, "She truly nourished him with her milk until he became strong in manners and ethics under her training and guidance."

Since Mirza Yahya was a great favorite of Quddoos and Qurratul Ayn, all the other Babis also humored him. Consequently, he became everybody's 'darling'. Even the Bab himself sent him prized personal possessions like his ink pot, papers, writings, dresses and rings to Mirza Yahya. Moreover in his will he clearly nominated Mirza Yahya as his successor.

The Emperor of Iran had executed the Bab. Naturally, the Babis bore a lot of animosity against him. A feeling of revenge had crept into them. All this resulted in an unsuccessful attempt by the Babis to assassinate the Emperor. This attempt having failed, the Emperor now knowing of the intention of the Babis was furious at them. He imprisoned all those involved in the assassination attempt. In this connection, Bahaullah was imprisoned, whereas, Mirza Yahya escaped to Baghdad posing as a Sufi. After spending 9 months in prison, Bahaullah was released after the intervention of the Russian Embassy. After his release, Bahaullah went to Baghdad.

For the next 10 years the two brothers lived in Baghdad. During this period, since Bab appointed Mirza Yahya as the successor, Bahaullah too surrendered to his orders and executed his commands as his agent. This becomes clear from his writings during this period, which are full of expression and devotion to Mirza Yahya and announce his obedience to him.

(Ref: Book of Iqan, by Bahaullah, Page 195)

This continued until a dispute arose between the brothers over the leadership of the followers. It is from here that the power struggle between them becomes apparent. Bahaullah abandoned obedience to Yahya's orders and represented himself as the envoy of God and the leader of the Bahais. This claim which was in contradiction with the beliefs and the sayings of the Babis caused disunion and in this manner a conflict arose between Yahya and Bahaullah and consequently among their followers.

In this conflict, all human manners like 'politeness', etiquette', were conveniently forgotten. Bahaullah called his brother as 'lamb' (Ref: Asrar al Athar-e-Khususi, Vol 4 page 197), 'Satan' (Ref: Asrar al Athar-e-Khususi. Vol 4, page 101 and Vol 5, page 346) and entitled him as a 'bull' (Bahaullah, the Book Badi, page 772). He abused him as a 'deceptive snake' (Asrar al Athar-e-Khususi, vol 4 page 34) and called his followers as 'dogs'. (Ref: Asrar al Athar-e-Khususi, Vol 5 page 177) He considered their sayings as the calls of the 'wolf' and the 'pig' (Ref: Asrar al Athar-e-Khususi, Vol 5 page 177). At this time the brothers started divulging their hidden secrets. Consequently many of the concealed sins and unspeakable sins and defects hidden from the sight of the public were disclosed.

The disunion and conflict between the brothers and the followers did not cease with the name-calling and mud slinging, and after a while the followers of Bahaullah began to massacre the adherents of Yahya at his command. They trapped the opponents through foul lots and swooped down upon then and murdered them in cold blood (Ref: Ishraq Khavari, Abd-al-Hamid, Tarikh-e-Amr. page 245).

Bahaullah had a sister by the name of Madame Iziyah, who wrote a book entitled "Awakening the Sleepy." She points out to the inhuman massacres of the Babis in various parts of the book and names many people who had been killed through cutting off their necks or ripping off their bellies, or suffocating them in the river or shooting them, because of not believing in Bahaullah. (Ref: Iziya-e-Khanum, Tanbih-al-Na'imin, page 15-16)

This article is not about the inhuman acts of the group. The aim of the investigation has not been to prepare a report of their crimes, because only a list of them will form a voluminous book. We wanted to see only how this ideology which claims to be divine, has met the needs of men for unity and solidarity.

We saw that the foundation of this religion was essentially built on opposition to unity and correlation. We know that the family is the smallest and the most correlative organ of society and the cornerstone of the high mansion of "Oneness of Mankind." Now if someone does not want to and is unable to establish unity in this small unit and on the contrary induces an abusive and bloody conflict in its place, he will never be able to think of "Oneness of Mankind", and will make no effort to create it. Rather he will make an attempt to destroy it as far as he can.

The above article and the references make it clear that Bahaullah was unable to maintain a united relationship with his brother. While he adhered to him in lesser times, he conveniently abandoned him at the first available opportunity. Truly, this reflects on the personality of Bahaullah and opens our eyes to their deception.

The Bahai Faith: Origin and History

Dr. Mohammed Alam Qurayshi

Here is a brief treatise on the history of the Bahai Faith - right from its inception, the Bab, this history of Subhe' Azal, Bahaullah, Abbas Effendi and finally till the present day Universal House of Justice.

The objective of this article is to give the reader a sense of Bahai history and an insight into the power struggle for leadership over the years. Over a period of time, I intend to delve deeper into each aspect of the Faith and present to reader an objective analysis. The links, which have been posted within the article, will lead you to the analysis.

The founder of Bahaism, Mirza Ali Mohammed Bab, was born to a trader family of Shiraz, a major city of Iran. He traveled to Kerbala, where he met Syed Kazim Rashti, the leader of the Shaikhiya sect and was impressed by his teachings. He became his disciple and was greatly devoted to him. When Syed Kazim Rashti died in 1844, Mirza Ali Mohammed and Haji Mohammed Karim Khan (another disciple of Rashti) appointed themselves as his successors. During the same year on the 23rd of May Mirza Ali Mohammed announced that he was "The Bab" (the Gate) whereas Haji Karim appointed himself to be the leader of the Shaikhiyya Sect. Another zealous student and an influential follower of Syed Kazim Rashti, Mulla Husain accepted the claim of Bab-hood of Mirza Ali Mohammed and in exchange was bestowed the title of "Awwalo Man Amana" (the first to believe). Within a short time Mirza Ali Mohammed gathered 18 followers around himself. He gave them the title of "Huruf-e-Hayy" (The Letters of Life) and sent them to different areas of Iran for propagation while he himself went to Mecca for Hajj. In Mecca, according to one report, he claimed to be "The Mahdi" (The guided one).

The Muslim religious scholars severely condemned and criticized the views of Mirza Ali Mohammed, which led to discord and clashes at many places and due to this Mirza Ali Mohammed was arrested and imprisoned. However, with the connivance of Manuchehr Khan, the Jail warden of the Isfahan prison, Bab escaped and went underground. However, he was soon re-arrested and on the 9th of July 1850 was finally executed.

Somehow for about 17 years, the followers of Mirza Ali Mohammed hid his body from the government in Tehran and kept it hidden in a tomb known as "Imamzada Masoom's Tomb." After that it was sent to Akka in Palestine on the instructions of Bahaullah.

In his lifetime Mirza Ali Mohammed had appointed Mirza Yahya, the son of Mirza Buzurg, and the stepbrother of Mirza Husain Ali as his successor. The same Mirza Husain Ali later came to be known as "Bahaullah." Mirza Ali Mohammed had given Mirza Yahya the title of "Subhe' Azal" (Everlasting Dawn). He also gave his ring, his personal effects and also the authority to explain and comment on his (Mirza Ali Mohammed Bab's) writings.

In 1852, some Bahais plotted to kill the Shah of Iran, Nasiruddin Shah. Due to the strict measures adopted to exterminate them, Subhe' Azal managed to go underground, but Mirza Husain Ali was captured. However he managed to escape the very same year and along with Subhe' Azal, succeeded in reaching Baghdad. Here they stayed for 12 years and thus Baghdad became the center of Bahai activities under the leadership of Subhe Azal. Meanwhile Mirza Husain Ali, as a result of some dispute by some Bahai leaders went to Kurdistan in Turkey and stayed there. But even the Turkish government, seeing his nefarious activities and his close association with Russia and Britain dispatched him to Constantinople. He stayed there for 4 years and it was from there that he announced that he was the real and true successor of Mirza Ali Mohammed and also that Allah, the Most High, had given him a more honored and lofty position than his predecessor.

Despite Mirza Ali Mohammed's clear announcement of the appointment of Mirza Yahya as his successor, a few others also rose up with claims of successorship after his death. Amongst them was a Bahai from Tabriz, Mirza Abdullah, who was thrown in the Arabian rivers by some Bahais on the orders of Mirza Husain Ali. Likewise an Indian Bahai, Aga Bashir Mohammed had also forwarded his claim but he did not receive any response.

Subhe' Azal along with most of the 18 special companions of Mirza Ali Mohammed severely opposed this claim of Mirza Husain Ali and came to Constantinople to bring back Mirza Husain Ali to the right path. Thus a severe discord broke out amongst the Bahais themselves and they began to kill each other openly. Finally, Mirza Yahya went into a recluse and Mirza Husain Ali became the sovereign leader of Bahais.

In view of such serious cir*****stances, the Ottoman government intervened and sent Subhe Azal along with his family to Cyprus and Mirza Husain Ali with his family to Palestine. The Bahais thus got divided into two distinct groups, the followers of Subhe Azal came to be known as "Azalis" and the followers of Mirza Husain Ali became famous as "Bahais." The Azalis numbered 50,000 at that time but due to various reasons their number went on decreasing and today they are an extinct group. The Azalis believed in the teachings mentioned in "Al Bayan" of Mirza Ali Mohammed Bab, whereas Mirza Husain Ali assumed the title of "Bahaullah" and claimed to be the new "Manifestation" of God and made changes in the earlier Bahai teachings. After this Bahaullah initiated contacts with world leaders like Queen Victoria, the Russian Czar, Napoleon and the Pope. He even praised the Russian justice when it sentenced to death two Iranians accused of killing two Bahais. He did this by quoting two "Divine" inspirations.

Mirza Husain Ali (Bahaullah) expired in May 1892 leaving behind 4 sons and 3 daughters. A severe dispute of successorship erupted among the brothers. The eldest, Abbas Effendi claimed to be the rightful successor in view of the continuation of divine inspirations. However, his brothers Mirza Mohammed Ali, Mirza Badiullah and Mirza Ziaullah and many other Bahais countered that the Divine inspiration ended since "Bahaullah" had himself written in "Al Aqdas" that anyone who claims thus (Divine inspiration) before the completion of 1,000 years of Bahaism, indeed was a liar and that this claim was false. Nevertheless Abbas Effendi was able to tide over these problems very soon. He assumed the title of "Abdul Baha" and took over the control of Bahaism. His position was further strengthened by the fact that in 1920, (after the 1st World War), he was conferred the title of "Sir" by the British. (As a reward for his espionage activities during the World War, which had helped the British a great deal).

Abdul Baha expired on 28th November 1921. Before his death he appointed his grandson Shoghi Effendi Rabbani as his successor. Rabbani was then 24 years old and was studying in Oxford. Rabbani wrote many books in Persian, Arabic and English for the propagation of Bahaism. He appointed 32 famous Bahais for spreading the faith of Bahaism and gave them the title of "Hands Of The Cause Of God."

In 1957, Rabbani also expired in London. The 32 Bahais then took over the affairs of the Bahai faith. In 1963, with a view to frame the Bahai Law, to solve the practical problems and to solve other organizational and constitutional disputes they established the "Universal House Of Justice" based on the number 19 and established its headquarters at Mount Carmel in Israel. The members of the "Universal House of Justice" are elected every 5 years at an International Bahai convention.

The Babi Faith: Origin and its History

Dr. Mohammed Alam Qurayshi

The Bahai Faith often projects itself to Muslims as a sect of Islam. They do this primarily by taking advantage of the fact that the origins of the Faith lie in Iran and that its founders have Muslim sounding names. The colonial-backed group twists information to deviate Muslims on the issue of finality of the prophet hood of Prophet Mohammed (p.b.u.h).

The primary objective of this article is to highlight the origin of the Bahai Faith. The study of the origin of any religion is important to any seeker of the truth for its helps us to establish veracity of its claims and that of its founders. An objective reading of this article will convince the reader that the history of the Bahai Faith and that of its leaders is laced with deception, lies and dishonesty. It is a dark history that the Bahais are ashamed of and hence wish to hide from it or turn their face the other way when one reminds them of it.

Secondly, we wish to establish conclusively that the Bahai Faith has absolutely nothing to do with Islam. It is not a sect of Islam. In fact, it is condemned by all sects of Islam due to their disbelief on the issue of the finality of the prophet hood of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h).

The origin of Bahai Faith can be traced to Mirza Ali Mohammed Bab, who is credited with being the founder of the Babi faith in Iran. During the time of Ali Mohammed Bab the sect was known as Babism and when Bahaullah took over, it came to be called as Bahaism. Mirza Ali Mohammed Bab was born on the 20th of October 1819 in Shiraz - a major city in Iran. His father was Mirza Raza Bazzaz, a merchant by profession and his mother was Fatima Khanum.

The Bab acquires knowledge from worldly teachers

At the age of seven the Bab was sent to study under Shaikh Abid, a scholar of the Shaikhiya sect. It is here that he imbibed the ideas of the Shaikhiya sect. Under the guidance of the Shaikh, he studied Persian, calligraphy, and some elementary Arabic grammar.

The Bab himself admitted that he obtained education from worldly teachers. When his heretic ideas created discord in Iran, the Crown Prince summoned him to an assembly of religious scholars. The scholars asked Bab about some basic rules of Arabic grammar, to which he replied, "I had learnt them when I was young, but now I have completely forgotten them."

(Ref: Traveler's Narrative, E. G. Browe, page 278-290, examination of the Bab)

The Bab was also a self-confessed disciple of Syed Kazim Rashti. The Bab himself declared, "I am one of the disciples of Sayyed-e-Muqaddas (Sayyed Kazim Rashti)."

(Ref: Hadyatul Mahdiyyah Page 212).

The above references are sufficient to prove that the Bab was, like any of us, in need of worldly education and teachers, and he did gain knowledge from worldly teachers like Shaikh Abid, Mohammed and Syed Kazim Rashti.

However the Bahai Faith completely discounts these facts and claims otherwise. Abbas Effendi, the son of Bahaullah, and the first leader of the Bahais utters a blatant lie on page 8 of his book 'Khutubat-e-Buzurg'. He writes, "It is incu mbent on every prophet that he gains knowledge from Allah alone and not from any human being and such is the practice of all prophets like Prophet Ibrahim, Hazrat Mohammed, Hazrat Bab and Bahaullah. All of them did not study in any school because the one who owes his knowledge to human schools cannot be a divine representative."

The above statement of Abbas Effendi is simply unacceptable. We can agree that all leaders who were divinely inspired did not seek knowledge from worldly teachers. However, we all must also agree that the Bab does not fall into this special category. Every Bahai worth his salt can wish fervently that Bab was a divine leader, but the fact is that he was not. The Bab, by virtue of his worldly schooling does not fulfill the basic criteria of being a divine leader - he was taught by men of this world.

We also take severe objection to the above statement for not only does Abbas Effendi deny the fact that Bab studied under various teachers, he has gone further and has put at par Bab and Bahaullah with the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h), and the other mighty prophets of Allah. There is no comparison between the Holy Prophet of Islam (p.b.u.h) and the Bab or Bahaullah.

The above statement of Abbas Effendi highlights another important aspect of the Bahai Faith. Here he has denied the finality of prophethood of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) -a fundamental belief of all Muslims. Bahais decry the finality of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h). I appeal to all Muslims to beware of them and do everything in their capacity to eradicate the evil designs of Bahaism.

The Bab was afflicted with a mental disorder

Another feature about the Bab is that during his youth he used to stand on the roof of his house directly under the sun. He did this during the hot summer days of Iran. Standing under the sun, he used to make signs to the sun all day long through the summer. So much so that people thought he was a star worshipper. This strange practice finds mention on page 66 of the book 'Talkheese Nabil' by Ishraaq Khaavri and "Hashte Bahist" by Mirza Aga Khan Kirmani. This habit of standing under the hot sun had a severe impact on the mental faculty of the Bab from which he never recovered completely. It was for the treatment of this disorder that Bab was sent to Kerbala in Iraq where he met Syed Kazim Rashti and studied under him.

The violent history of the Babis

The Bab arose at a time when hostilities between Iran and Russia were at their peak. During these wars Iran suffered extensive damage and there was bloodshed, unhappiness and despair everywhere. At this time the belief in the coming of the 'Promised Messiah' or the 'Mahdi' assumed great proportions. People in Iran were anxiously waiting for the reappearance of the Mahdi. (Iranians generally believe that Imam Mahdi has already been born, and would reappear by the will and permission of Allah to fill the earth with justice and equity as it will be filled with injustice and oppression). At such an opportune moment, Bab with the help of the Russian Ambassador, Kiniyaz Dolgorouki, claimed himself to be the Bab (Gate) of Imam Mahdi

(Ref: A Traveler's Narrative, Abbas Effendi Page 4).

The Bab: An objective analysis

Dr. Mohammed Alam Qurayshi

The Bahai Faith finds its origin in the Babi movement started by Mirza Ali Mohammed - The Bab. The Bahais speak highly of The Bab and title him as the "forerunner" of Bahaullah. To get a measure of role of the Bab, one can pay attention to some of the rich tributes paid to The Bab by the leaders of the Bahai Faith.

Abdul Baha says about The Bab, "The Bab, the Exalted One, is the Morn of Truth, the splendor of Whose light shines throughout all regions. He is also the Harbinger of the Most Great Light, the Abha Luminary (Bahá'u'lláh)."

(Ref: The World Order of Bahaullah, p. 127)

The above statements will make it adequately clear that The Bab was the Harbinger and the Forerunner of the Bahai Faith. The Bahai Faith finds its foundations and its fundamentals in the Babi movement.

It is only fair that we judge the Bahai Faith on the basis of its origin and its foundations. It is an oft quoted cliché that if the foundation is strong, so will be the structure. If the foundation is weak, so will be the structure. This holds true whether it is construction of any kind or argumentation or religion. If the foundation of the religion is robust, then the structure that follows it will be strong too.

Using the above argument, we wish to look at the life and time of The Bab. Let us look at the strength of the Babi Faith. How steadfast was Bab? Did his life justify his claims as a divinely appointed leader (or God as he later claimed?) If the foundation called The Bab cannot hold the pressure of our arguments, the surely the edifice of Bahaullah and consequently that of Bahaism must crumble.

The early history of The Bab

Bab was born on October 20, 1819 A.D. in the city of Shiraz in Iran. His father's name was Mirza Raza Bazzaz who was a merchant by profession. His mother's name was Fatime Khanum. When he was 7 years of age, he went to study under Shaikh Abid. Shaikh Abid was a scholar of the Shaikhiya sect, and so he infused all the ideas of the Shaikhiya sect into the mind of Mohammed Bab.

Was The Bab unlettered as the Bahais claim?

Abbas Effendi writes on page 8 of his book 'Khetabat-e-Buzurg', "It is in*****bent on every prophet that he gains knowledge from Allah alone and not from any human being and such is the practice of all prophets like Prophet Ibrahim, Hazrat Mohammed, Hazrat Bab and Bahaullah. All of them did not study in any school because the one who owes his knowledge to human schools cannot be a divine representative."

Fair enough. However history suggests quite the opposite.

Robert Stockman, an independent researcher writes in "Some notes on the Bab", "The young boy was sent to a local teacher named Shaykh Abid for six or seven years for a private education (there being no public schools in Shiraz at the time). The teacher was a Shaykhí, as were the members of the Bab's family, which suggests that the Báb was exposed to Shaykhí interpretations of Islam from a young age. The Báb very much disliked school, apparently acquired little book learning, and regarded much of the education He received as irrelevant."

The Truth behind The Bahai Truth

Dr. Mohammed Alam Qurayshi

Man by nature seeks the truth in whatever he does. God the Almighty has ingrained certain traits such as justice, the desire for truth and dislike for lies and deception in each one of us. Along with these he granted us the facility for intellect which guides us in our lives and helps us to differentiate between right and wrong. These deep-rooted characteristics have a profound impact on our lives. It is through these facilities that we are able to recognize truth and falsehood in whatever we do and in whatever we believe.

The objective behind The Bahai Truth is to draw upon these very facilities and understand in simple terms the reality of the Bahai Faith. I have had the opportunity over the years to interact with a fair number of Bahais and also to read some of their literature. My information on the Bahai Faith through these interactions and also through their books led me to believe that most Bahais are ignorant of their history and culture. More importantly this ignorance stems from the propagators of the Faith itself who, over a period of time, distorted elements of history and even their own literature.

How many Bahais would be aware that the Faith has a violent and bloody history? Or that Bab, the alleged originator of the Faith was mentally deranged and bloodthirsty individual. Or that Bahaullah actually claimed to be God himself? This deception of the Bahais is not limited to history alone. Even today, we have Bahais in various capacities trying to influence individuals under the garb of universal peace and unity while the actions of their own leaders were completely contrary to their teachings.

The Bahai Truth is a simple exercise to bring out relatively unknown elements of the Faith to both, the followers of the Faith and those who are influenced by it. I have made an attempt to be as objective as possible in my studies and have backed every comment with references. My site is an invitation towards truth and righteousness. It is a proclamation towards light from darkness. I welcome any comments, whether positive or critical to help me improve the web site in any manner.

Sure, most Bahais will not like what they see and read on the web site. To them, I have one advice - please read this in the light of the facilities of truth and justice that God endowed us with. I am a firm believer of the principle that the true courage of man lies in accepting the truth however bitter it may be and to follow it relentlessly.

I am open to any kind of debate or discussion with the Bahais. I request the Bahais to refer to the references I have mentioned in my articles. If there is any issue with these references, I would most willingly make the necessary changes. I repeat, I have used only authentic Bahai sources, not Muslim sources. From my experience I have seen Bahais generally do not have access to their original scriptures in Persian and Arabic. Most Bahais have never seen the original 'Iqan' and 'Aqdas' or even the 'Bayan.' Their knowledge of their Faith stems from translated versions of these books, most of which have been edited or rather censored. I, on the other hand, have quoted purely from these original scriptures that are available with me. I have used the translations only for cross-references.

My message to the Muslim world is that we all must realize the danger that the Bahai Faith holds for the community at large. The Bahai Faith claims to be the next divine religion after Islam and projects Bahaullah as the new prophet after the beloved Holy Prophet of Islam (p.b.u.h). They seek to destroy Islam by reducing the position of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) and wish to create discord amongst Muslims.

One must be aware of these and constantly remember that one who denies the finality of the prophet hood of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) has denied Islam, the Holy Quran and Allah Himself. We must strengthen our faith to counter the subtle attacks on Islam by the Bahais. Lastly one must remember that whatever happens in this world, at the end of it all, Allah has appointed a day of Judgement wherein we will be responsible for our actions - a day when we will meet the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) and will be questioned about our loyalties to him. I seek the help of Allah that Inshallah, we meet the Prophet (p.b.u.h) in a manner that he is pleased with us and we with him.
